Dojo

Dojo is an IoT device that connects to your network and acts as the essential layer between your smart devices and any threats to your entire network security and privacy.

Prior to the product's final working prototype being manufactured, conceptual renders and videos were desired to show off the product's look and feel to potential investors. 

Using a provided 3d model, I was responsible for the following:

• Lighting and rendering still shots of the product using Autodesk Maya and Mental Ray
• Creating and animating shading networks to simulate the colored lighting effects on top of the device
• Rendering animated revolve shots of the product
• Tracking, rendering and compositing the CGI Dojo product into several of the shots in the live-action demo video.
